Hyper 212 EVO for socket 1150?

I was on newegg.com and one of the comments said that the Hyper 212 EVO works just fine with the 1150 socket mobo's even though it's listed as not compatible with them. Is this true?

I've not heard of any mounting differences between 1155 and 1150. I'm fairly certain I would have if there was a difference.
