Inactive Iexpore.exe running and slowing everything down

Hello - This is my first post here and I've come for help. I am not very computer literate, I will do my best to describe my problem.

iexplore.exe is running and running, making everything else very slow or not responsive until this stops running. This started about one week ago. Then after 2-3 days, it seemed to clear up and stop for about 2 days, now it's running again.

I would appreciate your help with this. Thank you so much!

I'd like to clarify this:
iexplore.exe (pronounced 'eye' explore) is what run Internet Explorer It is normal to have 2 or more of this process running with IE8. You have used this spelling once.

[lexplore.exe[/b] (propunced 'el' explore) has been used twice. This process is for the SODABOT VIRUS!

Please clarify which you are referring to, then do the following:

NOTE: If you already have any of the scanning programs on the computer, please remove them and download the versions in these links.

When you have finished, leave the logs for review in your next reply .
