The Indian government just introduced a protype for world's cheapest tablet computer. The device looks similar to Apple's popular iPad, but would sell for just $35.
The government is hoping to provide the device to students as an alternative to the famous "$100 computer" – developed by MIT as a low-cost option for the emerging world – which it rejected as too expensive.

My comment: I suppose they’ll be giving them away with Cornflakes next.
