Installing CS4 Illustrator install problem

At first I tried installing CS4 Illustrator demo, and couldn't.

Then I bought Cs4 Illustrator and it still won't install.

I attached a picture of where it always hangs up.

I tried uninstalling/removing anything that has the word CS4 or Illustrator from my computer and reinstalling it, but still nothing, any suggestions?

P.S. I can't get support from good old Adobe because I didn't buy it from them and I installed Adobe Support Advisor but don't know how to work it.

Do you have Adobe reader installed?

When I got the computer I got Adobe Reader 8 on my computer, so yes I have Adobe Reader.

try to uninstall the Abobe reader components.
Adobe has a habit of LOCKING reg keys
save the ilistrator install file to you disk and then run it

you can always download Adobe Reader 9 after this
