I have been trying desperately to install my Epson cx8400, all-in-one printer to my new Toshiba P300 laptop.
The last effort I tried was a clean install of just the driver that I got from the Toshiba site. The Epson install message said everything went a-OK, Device Manager - Systems shows everything a-OK but when I try to print I get a message telling me that everything is NOT ok and wants to search for the driver which always ends up empty handed
The only thing that offers a small ray of hope is that I checked Details on the last rejection message and the first item listed was "unable to locate PnP" The printer works ok on it's own internal program and works ok on my other XP computer with USB hookup.
