Instructions to Dual Boot

Hi All,

New to the forums here and need advice on how to go about dual booting. I am currently running Windows XP and want to install Vista Ultimate on a SECOND hard drive (no partitioning) and have the ability to dual boot while I test Vista with all of my hardware.

Can anyone provide detailed instructions on how to correctly configure the dual boot? Currently, I have Windows XP installed on my main hard drive (along with all my software, files, pictures, music, etc.) and Vista OS ONLY installed on a second hard drive.

I imagine I will need to reinstall Vista to correctly set up the dual boot. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

System Info:
Asus P5W DH Deluxe Motherboard
Intel e6600 Core 2 Duo (2.40Ghz)
3.0GB DDR2 800 RAM
ATI Radeon HD3800 (512MB DDR3)
Windows XP on WD - SATA 300GB HDD
Windows Vista Ultimate - SATA 150GB HDD

I have the following setup
1 XP Boot drive
1 Vista boot drive
1 data drive (2 x 160 Gb striped RAID)
I select which OS at boot from the BIOS selection - obviously all the apps have to be installed onto each OS but all my files are on the data drive.
Hope this helps!
