Intel launches Tiger Lake CPUs with Xe graphics for laptops, aims higher than Ryzen 4000

A lot of good points here. When it comes down to it it's the brands who put their names on the outside of the box that are the real handicappers, for both Intel and AMD. Heat, battery life, monitor requirements, weight, etc. are spec'd by the manufacturers and the CPUs have to dance around those specs. It's MSI, Lenovo, ASUS and the rest that have to service the warranty, so AMD has an advantage with lower TDP simply because heat impacts everything around it. Add decent graphics, you have to add or modify fans, which adds to the weight, heat....ad infinitum. When we get 3rd party comps I'm guessing AMD still comes out on top for today. Tomorrow... is tomorrow :)
