I also want the Optane DIMMs and SSDs to have a glorious comeback especially with PCI-E 5.0. I am already seeing lots of untapped potential in it when it first became available way back 2017. Random Read & Write Performance, Latency and Write Endurance that far surpass SLC NAND Flash Memory.
