Solved Internet not working, computer says no networks found, cmd not found

I'm a complete computer newbie and I have no idea what happened to my computer. the internet was being really slow, so I manually shut it down and restarted it. when the computer finished restarting, my internet connection was suddenly gone! I tried connecting to a network, but my computer says that no networks can be found. PLEASE HELP! I need to review for a midterm I have tomorrow online!

well i was able to find and open my cmd, so 1 problem kinda solved. but now what do i do? my internet still isnt working and my computer still cont find any networks to connect to.

nevermind, i was able to solve the problem looking through other people's posts =]
i want to thank techspot and everyone on here so much for posting free advice to solve problems. THANKS!
