Is my monitor broken?

So recently I have begun experiencing problems with my monitor. It begun with the occasional of red pixels randomly glitching unwelcome across my screen then occasionally the picture would cut out and be replaced by static. Then yesterday there was a bang and now it won't turn on! I have checked that everything is plugged in correctly. Any help appreciated.

Under that condition, I'd say yes your monitor does have damaged components now.
