Is this a driver clash?

Good morning everybody (or evening, or night, or wherever you are !),

I have a client running XP pro, who is reporting intermittent BSOD's. I have extracted debug information from the minidumps and I need a little help in diagnosing them.

I see 'PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (50)'

although the dump tells me it can't read the faulting driver name.

I then see a faulting_IP referring to ati2cqag

Slightly further down the log, I see a reference to isqlw.exe (as follows)

DEFAULT_BUCKET_ID: DRIVER_FAULT

BUGCHECK_STR: 0x50

PROCESS_NAME: isqlw.exe

Am I seeing some kind of clash between applications here, maybe the ATI software and ISQLW.EXE ??

I am attaching the deciphered minidump information.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Thanks

Leigh

That particular ATI driver shows up here quite often. Many people have issues with it. Do a search on the net and you'll see what I mean.

You could do the following and see if it helps you. I know by uninstalling and then updating vid drivers has helped many.

1. Download Driver Cleaner Pro (free version) to your desktop screen and install.

2. Download the latest diver(s) for your video card but don't install them.

3. Uninstall your video card drivers and reboot your PC into Safe Mode. Run Driver Cleaner Pro. If it doesn't find any video card drivers that is quite okay.

4. Reboot and install new video card drivers.

* Let us know if this rectifies the issue.
