Joe Biden thinks Elon Musk's links with other countries should be "looked at"

Whoa, the term, "political tribalists" is much more applicable to Trump loyalists / cultists. Or did we forget that? Better grab a 7 x 10' flag, strap it to the back of your pickup truck, and start driving around Mar a Lago>ZZZZZZZZZZZ

The fact that, "politicians are crooks", is so ingrained in US society, that after 250+ years, it barely raises an eyebrow anymore. So, are we flogging a dead horse much?
Trump loyalists are absolutely an example of political tribalism...completely agree.. But then another example would be people voted for a total whack job like Fettermen. A person who can barley answer simple questions in a debate and has some crazy extreme views. I honestly could not believe that they put him in office.
Well, first off, that photo has been manipulated with Photoshop's stretch / pinch filter.

Second, if you want to start this sh!t, I have an abundance of manipulated or otherwise, stock photos of Trumpty-Dumpty I could put up.

And I have enough to get this thread locked, if that's your wish.

Just say the word, it's your choice.

lol...of course it's manipulated. It was a joke...settle down. lol

My my. Another Elon thread destined to bite the dust of being locked. I wonder how many posts it will take?
Amigo, you say that like it's a bad thing.

As I've said before, Musk is an a**hole that revels in manipulating people into fighting one another for his personal pleasure. The only other thing he's adept at, is talking people's money out of their pockets, and putting it into his.

Just because the Musk lovers association can't tell an "innovator", from a "parasite", is just a reflection on our failing educational system, along with the power of Madison Avenue's propaganda

I'll spare you that cascade of paragraphs I have to support that opinion. (Maybe the thread will last a few post longer if I show some restraint)..

On a side note, crypto is failing miserably like any pyramid scheme should, (and many predicted).

Well, before you can fully understand US politics, you have to be able to understand the principle of, "the lesser of two evils". In this case, Fetterman was definitely, "the lesser".

As for his "radical views", the senate won't "advise and consent" to adopting them.

In many ways the PA senate seat mirrors what is going on in Georgia, Warnock vs. Walker. Walker's brain is literally pudding. The only thing the red team can accomplish if they elect him is provide an empty seat for Mitch McConnell to control He's already a "tool", in the figurative sense, he'll just morph int McConnell's tool.

I'm an atheist that firmly believes in the separation of church and state. Accordingly, Warnock is way, way, over the top as far as "preachy" goes.. Still, he's the lesser of two evils.

lol...I don't think that the concept of "lesser of two evils" is all that difficult to understand.
What an interesting conversation we could have about the meaning of "evil" with you being atheist but this isn't the place. I would argue that Oz, who I'm not fan of, would have been the lesser evil by far.
I'm not atheist in any way but I also believe in the separation of church and state.
As for Walker's brain being mush...well two points here. One, he did pretty good in the debate and really walked away declared as the winner for the most part by most people.
Two if you think Walker's brain is mush you have to admit that Fetterman's is as well because Walker is a much more functional human that Fetterman.

Truth. And the fact that he is claiming the FBI has Hunter's laptop is as good as giving it to dementia Joe. Nobody sane trusts the FBI anymore when it come to political bias.
That, "nobody trusts the FBI", is a personal opinion that you're trying to foist off on us as an "absolute truth", is really a personal fantasy you're entertaining. Spare us.

All you far righties that denounced far leftist's, "defund the police", chants, quickly jumped into "defund the FBI", when it came to protecting their idol, "the great douche bag".

Hypocrisy much?

As I said, Walker is a "tool", also a tool of the Republican party.

As for Fetterman well. we're hoping he'll get better. He just had a stroke, so at least there's the possibility of improvement./ recovery.

Dr. Oz is an nonredeemable piece of sh!t, a liar, a conman, a thief, who was called in front of congress to answer for his fake diet pill scams. So, now he'd make a good senator? "I don theenk so".

I think when someone as influential as Oprah Winfrey, (who I can't stand BTW), comes out against someone she's been associated with for years, that's very telling of Oz's character.

If you want my definition of "pure evil", you only have to look to the Vatican to find it.

Just to "lighten things up a bit", here's the soundtrack to that:

And I would say you give her WAY too much credit.
I mean she's part of typical Hollyweird. She was also good friends with good'ol Harvey. Then had the nerve to get on stage and act like a hero and preach for women....sorry absolutely zero credibility.

Funny thing about Weinstien, when he was a young, handsome, VIP buck, women were jumping quite willingly into bed with him to get cast in a movie.

His biggest mistake was getting old, fat, and ugly, and not realizing it. Besides, since when hasn't sex been weaponized, by both genders?

All of Oz's crap was pulled by Walmart after the congressional hearings. But I guess you'll just say they, (either Walmart or congress), have no credibility either.

Weinstein has never been an attractive or fit man....ever.
And my point was that Oprah is not someone I consider to be real credible.

Nor do I. I consider her a racist, (not as bad as Whoopie Goldberg though), an opportunist, and an exploitive piece of crap.

I do find it very interesting, with all those negative traits, she still turned on Oz..

Maybe so, but imagine yourself as a 20 year old starlet, would you rather bed him now, or 3 or 4 decades ago?

You're starting to lean a bit left yourself if you think most of these, sexual harassment and assault cases, are not monetarily motivated.

Take this bimbo who got Bill Cosby put in jail. She filed a concomitant civil suit for his money. As far as I'm concerned, anyone involved in that era's culture, should have known what a Quaalude would do, before they shoved in in their maw. .

I honestly don't know that much about him or what illegal things he may have done.
Again my point was her credibility. She was buds with him and then turned and acted like a champion for women because everyone made him out to be satan. Then like total *****s the media and public were like "OMG Oprah for president". Just left me speechless that people would be so stupid and amazed that she had the nerve to get on stage and say what she did.

@Ohnooze
“You can never underestimate the stupidity of the general public”. ― Scott Adams.
George Carlin ; Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that. Stupidity
George Carlin — 'Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.'
"No one ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public,"

And one from me, "the intellect of the mob is equal to the square root of its stupidest member's IQ"

Well, the people elected Trump so no surprises there. Here's an appropriate quote for you -
“As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright *****.”

― H.L. Mencken

Yes, Musk was the devil incarnate to the right until he decided to employ marketing principles and use the hot button words "I'm buying twitter to restore your free speech." 🤣 Now, he's their savior! 🤣 Oh, the Irony! :D
A lot the left loved him until then as well. That really goes both ways. But honestly I don't the right leaning people cared about him either way until he bought Twitter.

Comrade, you're just butthurt because Donald Trump isn't around kissing Vladimir Putin's a**.

Mr. Putin's stated and written agenda is to re-form the USSR.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it's full name the, "Union of Soviet Socialist Republics"?.

Now you're crying that "Biden is a socialist". News flash, some Scandinavian countries are deemed "Socialist Democracies", and they're doing just fine, thank you very much. In fact, two of them just joined NATO.

Rebuttle of the day right there!

A minor clarification - Sweden and Finland are not "Socialist Democracies", they're inherently Capitalist Economies. However, like most European nations they're known for pursuing "Social Democratic" policies, which is not the same thing - it merely means they don't believe in "unfettered" Captialism. I admit it's a pedantic thing, but a Social Democrat is not a Socialist - a point that confuses many of the right wing lunatics that inhabit these forums.

TechSpot should allow the masses to bestow awards for comments like these. Either "Most bizarre comment in a thread" or "Supremely Non-Sequitur!". The OP should feel proud.
