i'm having a problem with my system not recognizing any disc that i insert, even though my pc shows that it's working fine. i've had this problem since i tried to upgrade my windows xp home edition to windows xp office. somewhere along the line, even though the upgrade did not succeed, something has changed in my system. i insert a disc and it's like i never did. all was working fine until i tried to upgrade. please help. i'm new at this, so please don't be too technical with your answer. thanks. -bill
