when i turn my computer on it boots up like it should until where it would reach the windows xp welcome screen.instead of reaching the welcome screen the video cuts out and my monitor says signal lost.i presume the computer is still booting fine though as the hdd light still illuminates and the fans are all still operating like normal.now a few months ago i had problems with an old graphics card so i got a new one a sapphire ati radeon hd 3650 i think it was and it was running fine until a few days ago where the video kept getting lost.i dont know if my computer has updated something that has caused a conflict either

any help would be much appreciated

thanks

Hi

your graphics card is set to a range to high for the monitor, you need to reboot into vga mode and then reboot back into normal mode.

or boot into safe mode and remove the video card in device manager and then reboot and let windows reinstall it
