Lost Sound

Hi!
I’ve lost all the sound on my computer.
It happened after disabling the sounds in “sounds and devices” in the control panel window.
I have reset it back to “Windows default” mode but the sound remains mute.
There is no yellow “?” showing in “Device Manager”.
Can anybody help?

There could be a few things wrong. In taskbar double click on your sound icon and make sure there is NO checkmark in mute under volume tab. If thats ok try reinstalling your sound drivers from disk. Hope that helps

For some reason I needed to reinstall sound drivers.
Now all is well.
