LOW sound, what does this mean?

Went into control panel to see why my sound is barely audible & got this. why? Should I click yes or no??

I clicked yes on the above image & , well, its louder now.

Have you tried updating drivers? The window talks about driver enhancements, maybe remove it search for updates.
I had a similar issue with sound on my laptop I've tried every dubious enhancer but when I've updated all the possible drivers - no issues.
