With that being said progressiveness has had a habit of winning in this country, its just a matter a time. Started with Slavery, then Women's voting, Prohibition, Jim Crow laws, Gay Marriage, and the slow spread of Marijuana Legalization to name a few. I hate to break it to yall, but even if this fight is dragged out for the next 12 years, the outcome will be the same: Transgender (pre-op and post-op) will be treated like their respective genders and gain the same rights as everyone else. For all of those screaming well "I dont want a pervy man going into the bathroom with my daughter", the probably will make people change their gender on their ID cards to match their transition, which will probably contain a load of prerequisites and hoop jumping before they can get that changed including extensive psychological evaluation (which they do know before surgery is even considred to ensure that its what's best for that person and wont cause even more problems down the line). So if their ID does not represent their perceived gender then they wont get to use the restroom. Once they've been cleared as ready to transition, well all bets off, and America is going to have to get used to it.

No you were right I am black man, but I am straight, and I have transgender friends who I care about (pause for the heathen eyeroll), and I believe in their rights. You right a woman's life can change by one instance like that. As I stated earlier in a post, what stops me from doing something like that in the current situation, is not really anything. I hate to say this because I believe you do care about the women in your life but currently a man (or a woman) could walk in without a wig and makeup and commit assault. Your daughter's gym coach could be an assaulter, wife's boss, sister's boyfriend. Your right a woman entering a men's bathroom can be dangerous (so far stats have shown 0 assaults by transgender people and quite a few against), which then begs the question should the public be scared of a trans-person in their bathroom or is it more likely a trans-persons should be scared of getting to use the bathroom they want?
