i have three ddr 400 pc3200 sdram dimms.two of them are 512mb and they came on board in the fujitsu pc.the third one is a ddr400 pc3200 sdram with 1gb capacity.the two of the same are working in dual channel.if i put the third one (1gb)the dual channel is off.does it have to be a problem(reboots, bsod e.t.c)?the two of the same supports early ras# precharge.the big one is not.is it also a problem(big or small)or not?

You want the memory to be identical in dual channel, for best results. Otherwise, the system runs at the speed of the slowest, and conflicts are always a possibility.

You'll put in peril, your system's stability if you try to plug in different kind/type of ram in a system; therefore as raybay very rightfully suggested get 'identical' type/make of ram sticks.
