First off I would like to say hi to everyone, im new to TechSpot.
So anyways, I just recently bought an ASUS P5N SLI mobo for my desktop because my intel mobo had a heartattack, but my new mobo's sound is onboard and its called Realtek HD Audio, im a gamer, so using my microphone is essential when playing certain games and talking in Ventrilo, but for some reason, when I talk to my friends now in Ventrilo they complain of harsh beeping sounds coming from my mic, so I decided to use the sound recorder that came with windows and my voice seemed just fine, I went on to do further testing with the 'Test Hardware' feature under control panel, and when I got to the part where I record my voice and simutaneously hear my voice, the microphone picked up the first sound it got and echoed it horribly. Any tips?
