Microsoft Safety Scanner

I downloaded the scanner from here at Techspot but it was out of date so I downloaded it from the Microsoft site.

I just thought someone might be interested in this.

Hi. No problems here. This is a good program and you should run it if you suspect your PC has become infected.;)
I's been around a long time. I'm surprised that trained malware fighters don't recommend this program?

Hi! I would like to add this to this thread. Here's a good article by Tim Fisher about malware and how to deal with it.
Tim also suggests the Microsoft Safety Scanner. Programs for getting rid, of and preventing malware have came a long way. It might be time you to brush up on the subject.:D

PS You may think you know every thing about malware, but I suggest you take a little time and read the entire article by Tim Fisher.
PS2 Thanks for this thread @DavidBailey (y)You are appreciated!

I'm doing a full scan with it now.
Will edit this & post the results & the time it took to finish.

The full scan took around 10 hours & found nothing.
I won't be doing that again anytime soon.
