Woop woop first post! :)

Hi guys, I've just upgraded my motherboard from:

• Gigabyte GA-7VRXP*(Rev*1.1)
• AMD Athon 2100+ XP
• 1 Gig Corsair XMS DDR SDRAM

To:

• Gigabyte GA-7N400-L
• AMD Athon 2800+XP
• 3 gig Corsair XMS DDR SDRAM

Same HDD, same PSU, same CD-DVD drive- Graphics card is an AGP PNY Geforce 7600GS 512Mb.

The first time I turned it on, it came up with CMOS Checksum error, which I solved by resetting BIOS and restoring to Optimised Defaults. The Primary Master is listed as the Maxtor HDD, and the Primary Slave is listed as the Ricoh DVD-CD drive- same goes for the boot order.

It then runs fine- until it gets to Verifying DMI Pool Data... it says success, but then restarts. Sometimes the Windows XP loading screen flashes up, other times a BSoD- but doesn't show long enough for me to read it.

It's now just stuck in this constant loop!

Any ideas at all please? :)
