even if they cracked it . they won't be able to play online ...... only single player. and most of us after they play a cracked one they buy an original one, so they can play online

I'm tired of military shooter games. I'm also tired of crime procedural drama's on TV. Thank goodness other games are on the market, and thanks to Steam for making them affordable.

its no big deal the sales figures are much higher than pirated figures its not a problem for the company, its been the highest selling game by far in the history of entainment

GOOOO COD !

why to pay 100$ (local price and it just came out here)
for a game i can get for free
and **** the big companies they are rich enough
i will buy this game few years later on some local sale fo 10$

All I gonna say to the piracy of products is also this:: I've been getting so confused about the installation of the steam downloader::

I tried to install it from disc (because I legally bought it) but always I started the process, Steam wanted me to download the 11.5 gigs at all, and this from fully overloaded severs by a max. speed of 20 to 30 kbits/s..

It took me 2.5 hours of experiencing around with that **** before I solved it!! :-((

I think I wont buy legally a game and nerving me about such procedures!! Better go to something like "thepiratebay.org" or "kickasstorrents.com" have a nice working download with a nice working crack! Then everything should be so fine and easy!! :))

Bought everything up until MW2.

I refuse to buy it until dedicated servers are added.

Piracy isn't theft, you can't assume people who downloaded would have bought regardless of DRM.

Actually, the online multiplayer has already been cracked.
You can play with others on IW.Net (and update to the latest version, 1.0.174) and not get kicked (though most hackers haven't updated and still use 1.0.166).

Just Google for a way to launch MW2 through Zero Gear, et viola: free IW.Net multiplayer for cracked copies.

Dont even get me started on feeling bad for developers. A previous programmer myself knows that the gaming companies did this to themselves, charging ridiculous prices in the past AND now for games that were sometimes very incomplete and deceived the public gaming community for years (back when torrents didnt exist).

They need to price games accordingly and not be so greedy. Ive seen better games like Mount&blade and Zombie Panic Source more appealing and for $5 (ZPS) and $20-$30 (M&B). OH and L4D? and L4D2? both source MODS... for 60 F-N dollars.

AND COD6? WHAT HARD WORK!!! MAPS? NEW MAPS and some new weapons and perks!!! its the same game layout/engine/gameplay COD has been feeding the community for 5-6 years, it hasnt changed a bit. You dont see Counter-Strike making 6 versions of their game and charging $60. CSS is the same game as CS just with a better engine, and they have had a matching player base up to cod4!

WAKE UP MAINSTREAM BABIES. YOUR BEING SUCKED INTO ADVERTISEMENT AND MONOPOLIES. Support the NOT-SO-BIG developers who do this because they too are gamers and love this community.

Watch the newest form of DRM be: When you buy a game, you must call in the company to activate the product. Not to just try to activate the product, but also to download files that work with your specific code, in order to get the game to even run!--not only that the company will be allowed to do through "internet" checks to constantly make sure your copy is legit, even after activation.

All those people who failed at life, and make 10$ an hour in a studio apartment will be screwed! haha

Serves them right, they stuck it to gamers with their no dedicated servers bull. After it was said they loved those people. Well they got what they asked for.

well......with no ds to play why buy it just to play. i have need for the game and as for the one's sold there is is still the one's (like me) how never got it. as for selling over 4mill. it still never hit the #1 selling for pc. wounder why. i hope iw looks at this and thinks"i wounder if he will buy one". no way! i'll never even play the crap. i'm looking fowerd to bf2. have fun and play hard
