Moniter not being detected

I changed my memory and now I my comp. wont work properly. it's detecting my moniter or key board and it isn't booting correctly. I don't get the little "beep" like I use 2 wen I turn it on.Can some1 plzz help me? I use my comp. for everything. The memory I put in there was recomended by a friend.these r my comp specs.

At least one of the RAM chips is bad. Swap the chips until you figure out which one is bad. You can go back to the store and they will exchange it free of charge (they should!)

ty i will try that and get bac 2 you.

my 15 yr old boy fixed it. he took out a circuit board and cleaned it. the memory was fine. ty for ur help.
