My Monitor is often not detected by BIOS, its funny, if I do any work on the PC hardware then this happens and to get it working again I have to plug and unplug the power cord, pluyg unplug the monitor and it goes on. No set combination works and its really annoying me because I often work on my PC. Here are my specs that I feel are important. MoBo - Gigabyte DS3, Core 2 Duo 2.66 and Nvidia 8600GTS.

On a side note I have eliminated the monitor as a problem. THe problem above exists on other computer I own that uses a Gigabyte MoBo too and a Nvidia graphic card.

No, it wasn't a driver problem, but thanks none the less for the suggestion frank. Turns out that one of the two 4 pin power cords that is converted into a 6 pin power cord for the video card was not plugged in. :s
