Hello - I just got a Windows 7 machine up and going for a co-worker. The moniter/vga cable connection works fine when it's plugged in, but when the LPT port HP LaserJet printer is plugged in as well, it fails to come on, like the computer isn't even turned on. The monitor isn't receiving a signal from the computer. Same with issue with the printer. It works only if the monitor cable is unplugged.
There aren't any problems showing in Device Manager, and I can't see any errors in the Event Viewer. This is probably an easy issue to resolve, but I would appreciate some advice. If you need further information concerning my setup, please let me know. Thank you.
