Motorola has expanded its Android lineup with two new handset models at this year’s CES in Las Vegas: the Motoluxe and Defy Mini, both of which are powered by Google's Android 2.3 mobile OS.

The Motorola Motoluxe (below left) offers users a 4-inch touchscreen display which dominates the handset's front face, and an eight megapixel camera complete with flash adorns the rear. A VGA front-facing camera is also included. Its 1400mAh battery claims to offer 6.5 hours of talk time, or 19 days in standby.

The Motorola Defy-Mini (above right) offers a smaller 3.2-inch touchscreen display with scratch resistant Corning “Gorilla” glass. It is also dust and water resistant. On the reverse is a three megapixel camera paired with a front facing VGA camera and comes with a 1650mAh battery which the firm claims will offer users up to 10 hours talk time, or 21 days in standby.

They both feature Motorola’s MotoSwitch interface, and the social graph feature which makes the icons appear larger for those you contact or communicate with more frequently. Both will be available for viewing and purchase at Motorola’s stand at this year’s CES.

The models will be available in most regions throughout the world, although there is no news on exact pricing right now.
