Mozilla gives Firefox a rebrand and a new mascot named Kit

Must have been a slow day for the marketing team at Mozilla. Either that or they simply got tired of playing video games all day while on the job.

Have been using Firefox for years even though recently--since Chrome's market dominance--more and more web sites don't always function correctly because of lack of compatibity.

What's curious is why is Google (the creator of both Chrome and Android) the largest financial contributor to the Mozilla Foundation?
