My ADSL modem is hacked

Hi all,

I use the ADSL technology for having the Internet. For that, I have a wireless N ADSL2+ modem router model TD-W8151N that I connect it wirelessly by my laptop and smartphone and etc.

I've heard that there is some Windows or smartphone app that can crack my modem and uses my traffic! My traffic volume finishes very soon.
My modem configuration is as normal and is fine but I don't know what is that method those crackers use to break the security of it and my traffic is being stolen still!

Is there any way to block the way crackers crack my modem? If yes, how please?

First, perform a factory reset, download and install the latest firmware

The secure the modem:
log into the modem

• disable remote administration
• disable port 8080
• change the admin login password
• on the wifi side, use WPA or WPA2 and create a NEW passphrase you can remember

Good passwords (or passphrases) contain

• one or more UppeR Case letters
• one or more lOWER CASe letters
• one or more numbers
• and at least one special character (_-+#@!)

and should be at least eight characters long.

I did two of those 4 ones! That is I changed admin password and used WPA2. But I don't have any info on how to disable remote administration and how to disable that port!
Could you assist me please?
