@Adrian Hole :: Which Windows are you using, Win/10? You need a new driver from the OEM site, not MS Update.
You saved me tons of lost revenue! Thank you!You may need to simply update the driver. Typically a laptop has three controllers for internet. The controller itself, the LAN controller and the Ethernet controller. Go to your device manager and see if there is a " ! " inside a yellow triangle under internet devices. Even if there is not, updating the driver may still work.
Well done!!!Problem solved all of the other advice here didnt help but I was determined to figure this out , this is how I fixed it . Go into your device settings under network adapters uninstall Realte PCle FE Family Controller right click uninstall , restart your computer , once booted up it will auto install the network adapter drivers. After I did this I could see my Wi-Fi connections again , maybe this will help someone I hope so..
