I am just setting this up.
For some reason when I left mouse click the menu that appears does not have "create" or "delete" "move" or "copy" functions.... Instead it offers "Open" "Open in New Tab" "Open in New Windows" etc

Also, if there is a drag and drop function that is not working (for instance, cannot drag a file and drop into another not even Trash

Left click on the file to select it. Now it is highlighted and you can RIGHT click on it to get all the options. Left click the one you want.

I'm not sure where you are going wrong with drag and drop. Try putting the cursor on the file, depress the left mouse button and hold it down while you drag the file. Release when it is where you want the file to go.

If you are using a laptop the touchpad arrangement is a pain. It's far easier to get a wireless USB mouse. Plug it in, Windows installs the drivers and things improve for most people.
