Need help with picking parts to build a gaming pc

I'm building a gaming pc and my total budget is between 1,000 and 2,000 dollars. I have a friend that's helping me and told me to wait on buying parts until Q4 or next year. I've built a gaming pc before with a water coolant but fried due to not being mateine well enough. this is my second build but I'm having trouble finding the best parts. the games I play are Skyrim, msfs20, warzone and cold war. I have 3 parts that my friend is willing to give me but I'm having trouble finding parts that are compatible with them.

Do you have a monitor and if so what is the resolution or is a monitor to be included in the build? btw what parts does your friend have?

A monitor is to be included with the build and the parts my friend has cpu AMD ryzen 5 3600 6 core processor, gpu AMD ryzen RX 6700 XT, VRAM AMD radeon RX 6700 XT, Motherboard Gigabyte B450M, those are the ones that he sent me

@dretheshredder that B450 board and cpu of your friends is well past its prime so I've included a new board + cpu in this build. If you prefer RGB they have plenty of those cases also. btw that psu down below is manufactured for Phanteks by Seasonic.

I wouldn't recommend an HTPC case nor that cooler for a gaming build. They're more or less hotboxes.
