Network Dilemma

I have a router connected upstairs. Now i want to connect internet to my computer downstairs but it does not have wireless. I do have a couple of spare routers isit possible that the router can pick up wifi from my router upstairs and give me internet connection downstairs on my computer via ethernet

find the make/model # and google for the User's Guide -- it should have that information. fyi: the usual stuff we get as home users DOES NOT
