Network problem after fall creator update

Hi! My search has found this. I*t may be that W10 creator will not work with IPv6?
What is meant by IPv6 connectivity?
IPv6 is the next generation of routing and offers many improvements over IPv4, including a virtually unlimited number of addresses. Unfortunately, there exists a huge installed base of networking equipment that is not capable of communicating via the IPv6 protocol.Apr 12, 2011

Websites like google and Facebook use ipv6. Since I have ipv6 connectivity I am able to browse those on my pc. My pc shows no internet access for IPv4 and for that reason I cannot browse websites like techspot on my pc. However I can browse techspot on my iPad and laptop and mobile device.
Hi I understand that, but do you have Windows creator installed on your other devices?

NO worries mate. You’ve helped me a lot. I appreciate you efforts. I think it’s fall creator bug. I just don’t know how to report it

Did you read and follow my last link about DHCP? Please read that link and reply.
Did you go there?

Yea I did but I’ve tried that before. However I found something interesting about installing IPv4 using netsh command. So I uninstalled IPv4 using similar command and now I’m going to install it again. Hopefully this fixes the issue

Hi OK! Let me know how things go. If you solve your issue, please explain what you did. It will help other members here on the forum.;)

Even that didn’t help. At this point I’m out of ideas. I’ll just look for an isko with previous version

Hi. I'm out of ideas also. Good luck. I enjoyed working with you! My advise is to learn how to create back up images of your OS with a 3rd party program like Macrium Reflect. That way you will be a fearless Windows user like myself; knowing you can always restore your PC back like it was the day you crated the image.(y);)

A lesson learned. I will for sure make a windows image next time I do such stuff. Thanks for all your help mate.

Hi. @Deusest My pleasure mate. I doubt if you will find a ISO with a previous version of Windows; but who knows, Google is a marvelous tool. There just may be one out there. I'm sure you will find one if one exists.
Happy computing my friend!

Let's look at your v4 config. get a command prompt and enter IPCONFIG /ALL >myTcp.txt

then copy the content from myTcp.txt and paste as as follow up

Hi @jobeard Thanks for joining us. Not sure where the OP is from. He usually posts late at night.
When I inter your command in command prompt, it doesn't do any thing. I copied and pasted, so I know I did it right.;)

use NOTEPAD to open myTcp.txt; from there, select all & copy

Win/10 has had problems with WiFi drivers from day-1. We've fixed many WiFi connectivity issues by updating the WiFi driver, but NOT with the MS Update junk!
  1. find the make/model of your wifi device
  2. go to the website for that MAKE and look for Support, Drivers, Downloads - - could be anywhere
  3. now find the Win/10 {32 / 64}bit driver for your MODEL
download that driver and install it. When complete, reboot if the install does not do it for you.

not likely -- used this many times and even Copy/Paste the command into a window -- suggest you do so too

Hi Not chatting. I have been working with the OP sense day one. Here's what you posted IPCONFIG /ALL >myTcp.txt That's different what you now posted. I'm not here to cause conflicts. If I copy and paste that, it doesn't do any thing. If I type ipconfig /all it works. If I type ipcomfig.txt it works. The problem is that the OP doesn't show a Ipv4 IP address. He has a Ipv6 IP address and that is not working for all sites, especially this one. The OP is very computer savvy and knows what's going on. Let's wait for his reply. I'm running W10. What are you running?
Please read the entire thread!

the redirection to a different file name is inconsequential. I'll bow out to your networking experience.

Hi! No need to bow out. Team work is a good thing. Note the caps in your reply, also
myTcp.txt works.(y) They just don't work the way you posted them. They work separately. I hope this makes sense to you and the OP.;)

Okay I tried USB tethering via my Android mobile and still same issue. Something is wrongwith REMOTE NDIS based internet sharing drivers. New update broke something. Since I use both the devices via USB tethering and they work fine on my other devices it’s definitely an issue with windows
