New computer crashing on games

My new computer is crashing in various games and I can only get back to windows by hitting the restart button. It mostly happens at the same points in games.

Examples:

Crysis: At the beginning of the level "Core".
Battlefield 2: Everytime I die.
Swat 4: During the training simulator.

These are my specs:

EVGA nForce 750i SLI FTW Mobo
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 Processor 2.66GHz
BFG GeForce 9600 gt
4g ddr2 ram
700 watt psu

Please let me know if you can think of any solutions.

The very first thing is to run Memtest86 for 7 passes or so.

Also, check operating system temps idle and under load (Everest will do this dynamically - have it running in Computer, Sensor and alt+tab when you've been slaying stuff for a bit).
