Do the new wireless routers - like linksys and dlink - have printer server capabilities?

I have an older HP 2200 all in one printer that I would like to connect to a router so that any of my computers can use it without having to worry about having a particular computer on.

I think the printer only connects via USB.

What are my options? I'm upgrading an 8 yr old SMC router, as well as some other equipment.

Thanks.

Some very new router might have a print server feature, but don't hold your breath.

google for network print server

Sometimes its difficult to confirm if it has ethernet availability

But I believe not. You may wish to confirm this, in your manual, or by directly checking your printer ports.

I believe your best option would be to purchase a network printer, especially seeming you are updating other hardware as well.
Some older hardwares do not work well with newer hardware together.
So that may give you more reason to update.

Once you have an ethernet compatible printer, the rest is easy.
