New Xbox Series X details disclosed, including 12 TFLOPS of GPU power

Thats against a stock 8700K, with more cores, and sometimes the 8700K is faster by 10-15 FPS. If you compare then equally, its still pretty bad, here's a snippet from one of my comments on a recent review, located here:

Below is highlighted results is a 6/6 vs a 6/6.
Saying the ZEN2 only gets beat badly under certain circumstances, resolutions or video cards is just brand denial. Across various GPU's and resolutions, when you compare an AMD 6/6 against a Intel 6/6, or a AMD 8/16 against an Intel 8/16, the Ryzen gets whooped pretty badly.
Heres the results of an equal matchup.

Ok, so you're saying that the 8C16T Xbox Apu will get whopped by an 8700k and then you are using the *bottom end* Ryzen 3600 (non X) as a comparison? What did I miss?

Never mind the price difference here. Paying more than twice to - best case - get a 20% better avg result...at probably double the power consumption...OK

Mind you none of that matters to a console as games are all going to be optimized to take full advantage of the hardware they have.
Agreed 100%.

Who said that?
IMO the AMD hardware in the new consoles is quite to be quite spectacular, I hope its capable of a true 4K @ 60FPS/60Hz, not 30.

Using the 3600X wouldn't make much difference in my comparison.

I'm damn impressed with MS and Sony if the specs hold true. You're getting GPUs with the TFLOPs equivalent to Vega 64 and RX5700XT in terms of raw power. A GPU that will probably be as efficient or better than the RX5700 series. This monster is stronger than 98% of the GPUs currently available. Looking at the specs it's fare to say the XSX will wreck the majority of PC gamers on the market.

I mean the two most popular GPUs are the 1060 and the 1050 TI. GPUs that can be outclassed by the XB1X GPU in 4K. Hell when you look at the top ten most used GPUs the GTX 1080 is the highest end and it only makes up 2.8% of GPUs. 75% of PC gamers have a quad core or less with only 4% having 8 cores. Looking at the numbers it's fare to say high end PC gamers only makeup maybe 5% of gamers so spare me the RTX2080TI or 3080/TI because the majority of you (95%) won't or can't buy high end cards let alone $1000 plus cards. Don't attack me, the links are below from the Steam hardware survey.

I stopped reading after that.
I don't care when you stopped reading, that won't change the results when you compare an Intel 6/12 to an AMD 6/12, and an AMD 8/16 to a Intel 8/16, which is why, when it comes to gaming, AMD's best is 3rd place.
Core for core and thread for thread, Intel obliterates AMD's Ryzen in games, sometimes by 15-25 FPS when matched evenly. Thats gettin smoked. A 6/12 beating a 8/16 by 10-15 IS GETTING WAXED, considering the 6/12 can run another 500MHz and it s outgunned.
I like Ryzen, its awesome, but core for core and thread for thread it's a good o'l fashioned whoopin son.

As far as the consoles, its wicked power and I can't wait to see what they are capable of.

I don't know why all the chat about how much the console will cost, we all know that MS and Sony always sell their consoles at a lost, so I am to believe that next generation won't cost more than $500, which is already the highest ever seen after the fail $600 price point for the PS3 when released.-

I predict high price for the new system. If you don’t like it you can play new games on your old system. That has never happened before....forward combatibility. Am I understanding wrong on that?

Side note, we could be in a biblical pandimic, and many will be happy to be able to eat and be healthy. Revelation 6

Woah steady son! Saying anything good about Intel or anything bad about AMD is a minor form of Internet heresy. The only thing you could do that's worse is say 'Nintendo Games are for kids' or 'Linux is a bit shite'!
