No Conection with Chrome

Hi
I am having a problem with trying to go online with Google Chrome , it keeps saying :

"This site can’t be reached
The webpage at https://www.google.co.uk/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

ERR_NAME_RESOLUTION_FAILED ".

I can connect ok with IE , I am not to bad on Computers but this has got me beat have checked the usual things like being blocked in Firewall etc .

anyone got any idea's .

If one browser works and another doesn't, then clearly it's a browser problem.

1. clear cookies and history
2. retry
3. if that fails, uninstall and reinstall
