No connections are available

I recently moved my parents PC upstairs to the spare room. However, upon restarting it, I noticed that I was unable to connect to the internet. I keep getting a error "no connections available" when there are. I've tried a huge range of solutions, none of them being any good whatsoever. Any help would be great.

Hey Shaun056. I assume this is a desktop, and that you are trying to connect wirelessly, is that so?
If so, does any other wireless device see wireless network and make a connection?

Yes. I am posting from my desktop and have no problems in connecting.

OK, for clarification,you have a desktop which connects to your network wirelessly, but your parents desktop which was moved upstairs has the problem connecting. Do you see your wireless network on the pc upstairs when you view available wireless networks, and if you see it, does it show a decent signal strength?
If it is moved back downstairs, does it see and connect to your network?
