No output from GeForce GF 8400GS

Hi everyone, hope someone can help me!

I have a P4 VM900-Sata 2 Mobo with a Pentium 4 CPU and I have just installed an Nvidia Geforce GF 8400GS (512Mb DDR2 PCI-E) graphics card.

When the card is attached to the motherboard and I turn the computer on, I basically get no output to the display. I have also tried attaching the monitor to the motherboard with the Geforce GC attached but I still get no display.

Any ideas??

Have you connected the power supply properly to the video card?

Actually this low end graphics card doesn't have an external power connector. Just the same, perhaps it is a weak or marginal power supply that can't handle the extra demand. What kind of power supply do you have?

Have you changed your default display adapter from BIOS? Set it to PCI-E.
