No signal while gaming

While playing a game my screen will randomly go black, sound will cut out. ( No Signal ) will be displayed on my monitor and no power is fed to my keyboard or mouse or my ethernet input ( no green light ) while this happens until I restart my pc via power button. bear with me im not very tech savvy either :\ Anything information is welcomed!

Remove Avast and try gaming again. Windows 8 has Windows Defender built in and Avast might be "fighting" with it

Windows defender is disabled though

And them "fighting" can cause what I described? o.o

-5volts is not used, and if your 12v was 8v as listed your computer wouldn't boot at all, so what I said once again is do not pay attention to this voltage list... It is false and wrong. If you can't start Windows Defender, make sure Avast is truly and completely uninstalled
