Not able to read CD with my DVD player in Windows 7 Ultimate

  1. HI,

    Goodmorning !

    I have sony Read /writeble DVD drive . Which is workling finr with DVDs ..And same is used to work fine even with CD's when it is on my older system .which is XP home.

    not i brought new system which has windows 7 . i'm not able to read cd.which are original.

    System able to recognize CD name .. but not able to read inside that same tme i'm not able to open any of other files when CD ROM is inserted.when i exit it all are working fine .

    Please help to resolve this issue. i suspect windows 7 is causing this .

    later i tried same CD on other system which was working fine.

    You premumably wrote the CD's using some software in XP. If a version of the same software is available for Win7 then try that.

    i 'm not able to read following CD's those are actually new .

    like ATI Radeon driver CD which came along with Graphic card .
    "Objective IELTS Intermediate" which came along with Book .
    I really don't know what i have to do. what software i need to install ? how i can fix this ?
