Ntfs.sys BSOD Help? (XP)

As the title posted, I'm having problems with starting my other computer.

I just installed some new memory(PC3200 1GB) and kinda unplugged a connection to the harddrive. Currently, I fixed the Harddrive and the RAM but I had to reformat because the OS kept Shutting off and restarting suddenly. After I reformatted for about 2 hours, It finished and then the BSOD error pops up showing that Ntfs.sys could not be booted or something.

I am currently trying to use the recovery console CHKDSK and FIXBOOT.

I will report the Recovery console results ASAP.

Thanks

(Also, the system specs on this account is not the one of my desktop.)

F.Y.I. 0x00000024: NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM
A problem occurred within NTFS.SYS, the driver file that allows the system to read and write to NTFS file system drives. There may be a physical problem with the disk, or an Interrupt Request Packet (IRP) may be corrupted. Other common causes include heavy hard drive fragmentation, heavy file I/O, problems with some types of drive-mirroring software, or some antivirus software.
