Ntldr missing

i was running malwarebytes and i think it erase some important files i searched the web but i found that i have to use the cd's but i cant find 'em. any ideas that what i should do.

dell laptop., windows xp pro.
help will be appreciated
 
You're probably finding instructions telling you to use the Windows XP recovery console. You download an ISO image of the XP recovery console HERE. Burn it to CD (be sure you to burn the ISO file as an IMAGE file or else or you won't be able to boot into it when you try booting from it)
 
it didnt work i tried to burn the **** with roxio and imageburn but it did not boot. but it can boot fedora image.
 
Are you telling ImgBurn to burn an IMAGE to disc?

Hmmm, i dunno why it shouldn't be working then :confused:

Can only suggest you try
> See if the recovery console CD will boot on someone else's machine and/or
> Try creating the recovery CD on someone else's machine and verify it works on their machine.. then try it on yours

At least then know if it's an issue with the CD itself or an issue with your computer hardware drive and/or the media
