Bottom line - graphics cards are becoming more obscenely expensive, difficult to get and the currently available me-too games, sequels and "remake" games are not worth playing.

Things have never been this hopeless before for PC gaming.

I'm glad there are emulators to keep the classics alive, even on a modest laptop or desktop.

Lol. Its still one of the cheapest hobbies you can have and the amount of amazing games constantly dropping is far to much to keep up with. If all your willing to play is billion dollar mega AAA games than your loss I guess.

What bias are you alleging? Also, what does game selection matter, you can select any games you'd like and you're going to reach the same conclusion that gain in performance is way out of whack with increase in price.

I suspect he is commenting on the lack of RT games tossed in there and the overall selection seems fairly different from say a "gamers nexus" review. The part that stood out to me was the lack of a 3080 AIB card in the mix and the 6700xt-6900xt holding top spots in a bunch of charts. It kind of felt like they were chosen to showcase the best the AMD cards could offer. Typically the 3080 AIB cards handily beat the 6800xt and even 6900xt in many games, and they destroy them when RT or DLSS is enabled.

Its like doing a review of a performance car but leaving it in econo mode the whole time.

As someone who pre-orderer a 3080 back in November and is still yet to receive it, this launch feels like a bit of a slap in the face. Kinda glad in a way though as a). its not much better than the 3080 and b). the going rate of these cards is like 3x what I paid for my 3080. The current state of the GPU/CPU/next gen console world is mad.
