Old PC Upgrade

Thinking of replacing the 11 years old intel pc motherboard with amd for internet use....will the old intex cabinet support any motherboard ?

this is the current cabinet :
CPU : Intel Pentium 4
RAM : 1.00GB DDR @ 166MHz (2.5-3-3-7)
Motherboard : Intel D845GVSR (X1)

This is the replacement motherboard with apu... plz review it :

It looks to me the case is a Micro-ATX case. And if so it will support any Micro-ATX motherboard.

Is this your motherboard?

If it's working but you are unhappy with the performance you could increase the minimal 1Gb ram. My old P4 desktop running XP has 2.5Gb of ram and performs adequately. Unfortunately, older type ram can be quite expensive unless you can find some cheap on eBay.
