One Monitor, 2 Devices

I have an HP w2007 Monitor, which has 1 VGA and 1 DVI slot. I already have my computer connected to it. I have an Xbox 360 that I wish to connect to it also. I know I will need the Xbox 360 VGA adapter. Now, I want to know if there is a device that will let my single monitor support both devices, or if I will need to buy a VGA to DVI adapter and just plug the 360 VGA adapter into the DVI port? Most importantly, I want to know if either of these choices will allow me to change which device is being used without unplugging the another. (That would kind of defeat the purpose.) I would like to know which choicer is less expensive, and which (If 1, none, or both) will work. Thanks in advance.
