Outlook Express, I Need To Ditch Primary Cox.net Address

Hi Folks!

My primary email address is a cox.net address, that's what I've been using for years. I have another non cox email address I also use.

I'm going to leave Cox soon, so my question is, how do I set this up now, so all the people I reply to will get my replies from my the other non cox address?

I'm using Win XP if that matters,

It's been years since I last used Outlook Exp, but the process is to

• add a new account
• use the old to send one email to the new
• which verifies you're ready

Then manage your correspondents

• setup auto forward from the old to the new
• use the new to broadcast the change
• but use the BCC for each email to respect their privacy

That said, I recommend you download Mozilla Thunderbird as it is similar to O.E. but being maintained (it's free too).
