Packet tracer problem

I have packet tracer version 6.2 free version.I am unable change the nic interfaces modules for serial interfaces.It is choosing the the first nic on top by default in the physical configuration tab.Kindly help.

Why Serial interface - - is this a dialup? If so, it will still be the active Local Lan connection and even TRACERT should work fine.

In packet tracer you just power down the device. Then delete the module you don't want. Then add the module you do want. If the device is powered on I don't think you can change modules. @jobeard Cisco packet Tracer is a program used to simulate networks with Cisco gear.

@Gabriel Pike interesting, but I have no idea whereof you speak, as Cisco is typically commercial gear and not used by residential (aka home) users.
