Although Batman is right about most of that, if you bought it 3rd party from ebay, amazon, or your local-state flea market.
The only people will do that is dell.com, tell them you don't have original ownership. :/
Mentioned exactly "where you bought it from", and maybe a copy of the receipt if they ask for it.
Nine times out of ten, they will say no, unless they believe you or buy you're story which is highly unlikely.
