PC slows and crashes

Ok, well if I knew which parts to replace I could price them and see if it is worth fixing?

Also seems like the first time I boot the machine it appears darker screen colour and then the second time the screen seems brighter, if that makes sense,

I am still leaning toward a bad power supply. Can you swap the power supply with another?

Hmm...I have an old power supply. but the reason I got the bigger power supply was to suit my graphics card, but this was back in 2010 possibly. so I could try this I guess, but then it wouldnt be powerful enough to suit my gfx card
